Read these instructions first. After you link to Java (link below), click on 'Do I have Java?' That will take you to the correct download. Choose Run. The process varies depending on your operating system and what version of Java might already be installed, but so far it has worked in all instances that we tried. In one instance, where an older edition was already installed, there was an interruption the first time the new one was used, to 'replace Java applets'. Initially is said it would take seven minutes, and subsequently froze on 57 seconds. Momentary panic. I was able to restart the presentation that was interrupted, and this time the 'replace Java applets' just took a few seconds, finished, and everything worked. |
